Privacy Policy
Short version: this site does not ask you for anything, has no accounts, no comments and no forms, and does not try to identify you.
What we collect
Aggregate, privacy-preserving analytics. The site loads a lightweight analytics script that records page views and basic technical information — the page, the referring source, approximate region, device type. It is used to understand which pages are worth improving. It does not build a profile of you and is not used to identify you.
Nothing else, because there is nothing else to collect. There is no sign-up, no login, no newsletter, no comment box and no form of any kind on this site. If you email us, we have your email because you sent it; we use it to reply and we do not add you to anything.
Cookies and tracking
The site does not set advertising or profiling cookies. It has no third-party ad network and shows no display advertising.
Do Not Track. This site does not respond to Do Not Track signals, because it does not follow readers across other websites and so has nothing to switch off. No third party collects personally identifiable information about your activity across other sites through this one.
Categories, and who processes what
The only information reaching us is aggregate analytics and any email you choose to send. Our hosting and analytics provider, Cloudflare, processes your IP address in order to serve you the page and to produce those aggregate counts; we do not receive it in a form that identifies you. Nothing is shared with anyone else, and nothing is sold.
Outbound partner links
Some pages carry links to commercial partners. Those links pass through a path on this domain before redirecting, so we can count how many people clicked a given link. What that produces is a count of clicks on a link, not a record of who clicked. The partner’s own site has its own privacy policy from the moment you arrive there, and we have no control over it. Your data, and what we hold
We hold no account data, because there are no accounts. We hold correspondence you send us until it stops being useful to keep it. If you would like an email exchange deleted, ask and it will be — deletion is done by hand from the mailbox, which is the only place such a message is held.
Independence
This site is not affiliated with the Contractors State License Board or any state agency, and no information collected here is shared with one. We could not report on your license status if we wanted to; we have no access to any such record.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the version on this page is the one that applies, and the effective date below changes with it.
